Company History

The history of JAGO S.A. begins in 1990 when the company was created as a sole trader company. Dynamic development of the company allowed its transformation into a joint stock company in 1999 and shortly later, in 2001, there was opened the first Frozen Food Distribution Centre in Krzeszowice near Cracow.
The next important year in the history of JAGO S.A. was 2005. In that year the company took over assets of its main competitor in Poland, Tibbett & Britten Poland Sp. z o.o. and acquired Arkta S.A. company in Bydgoszcz. In that year JAGO S.A. also made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
The newest history of the company include:
- Introduction of new, technologically advanced IT system utilizing SAP system (leading ERP solution), Qugar WMS -- an application supporting all level warehouse operation, and powerful transport monitoring and planning tool -- Qugar TMS;
- Construction of a new Frozen Food Distribution Centre in Bieniew near Warsaw (at finishing works stage), the most modern and largest building of this type in Poland, with the greatest capacity and potential of all JAGO S.A. centres;
- Development of the Distribution Centre in Krzeszowice near Cracow;
- Modernization of transportation fleet;
We believe that accomplishment of the development plans will reinforce the position of JAGO S.A. as the leader of Polish logistics and frozen food distribution leader.
